We understand sometimes purchases don’t go as planned.  Our team are here to make your return and refund experience with us as easy as possible.  Please follow the steps below to initiate your return request. Warranty

Genuine Toyota replacement Parts & Accessories (excluding Toyota Approved Lifestyle products) are sold with the Toyota Parts and Accessories Warranty:

For 12v batteries, a 12-month warranty period applies from the date of the original retail sale;
For all other Parts & Accessories, a 24-month warranty period applies from the date of the original retail sale of that part/accessory or until that part/accessory has been in use
 

Toyota Approved Lifestyle products are not manufactured or warranted by Toyota. Any warranty is provided by the third-party manufacturer of the Supplier Branded Accessory.

Toyota Genuine Parts/Accessories purchased at and fitted to a Toyota vehicle by a Toyota Dealer are warranted for the remainder of that vehicle’s Toyota Warranty Advantage period, or 2yrs from installation (whichever is greater). Genuine Parts/Accessories purchased from, but not fitted by, a Toyota Dealer are warranted for 2 years from the date of purchase Proof of Purchase must be provided for all Toyota Parts Warranty claims.

There are 2 aspects to a Toyota Australia parts warranty claim:

1. Return the part to our Parts Department at Bill Robertson Toyota and our team will submit a parts only warranty claim, when/if Toyota approve the parts warranty, the customer gets a replacement part or refunded the part costs (does not cover the removal/refit labour costs).

OR

2. Take vehicle to nearest Toyota Dealer anywhere in Australia and the Toyota Dealer carries out the part warranty process. Additional labour charges for removal and refit may apply.


Returns 
If you wish to return or exchange items purchased from our online store, please follow these guidelines.

 

Return Form


Eligiblity
•    You have 30 days to return an item from the date you received it.
•    To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
•    Your item must be in the original packaging.
•    Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
•    Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will then notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
•    If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.
•    You will receive the credit within 7 days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.


Exchanges
•    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you believe your Toyota Genuine products are faulty, you may be elibible for a refund or replacement under the Toyota Australia Parts Warranty policy.  


Returning Your Items In-Person:
1.    Authorisation: Contact us within 30 days of purchase via text 0482 085 230 or email us here. Include Customer name, Part number (if applicable) and Invoice number in email subject field. 
2.    In-Person Return: Return your online order in person to our Parts Department, located at Bill Robertson Toyota, 84 Hanson Road, Gladstone Qld.  Please provide a copy of your invoice and products in original packaging. 

 

Returning Your Items Via Post: 
1.    Authorisation: All returns must be authorised by contacting us within 30 days of purchase via text on 0482 085 230 or email us at here.  Include Customer name, Part number (if applicable) and Invoice number in email subject field.
o    If your return parcel exceeds 110cm in length or 22kg in weight, please inform us as these returns require manual processing through alternative freight carrier.
2.    Shipping Fee: You will be prompted to pay a flat rate shipping fee of AUD$16.45, charged directly by AusPost. Upon payment completion, you will receive an email containing a pre-paid shipping label from AusPost.
o    If the error is on our end, please contact us, and we will waive the freight charges.
3.    Packaging: Pack your items securely in the original Toyota packaging. Please note: to avoid return refusal, extra costs, or delays, ensure your item is in its original Toyota packaging.
4.    Labelling: Attach the pre-paid shipping label firmly and clearly to the outside of your parcel.
5.    Shipping: Post your parcel within 10 days of receiving the pre-paid label you recieved by email.
o    Please allow up to 14 business days after posting for your return to reach our warehouse, this is dependent on your location and AusPost freight volume delays.
6.    Confirmation: Within 5 business days of receiving your return, we will send you confirmation once your item(s) have been processed.

 

Refund Process:
Refunds will be processed according to the original payment method used when placing your order:
•    Credit card payments will be refunded to the same credit card.
•    PayPal payments will be refunded via PayPal.
Please note that payment processing may take up to 7 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
